Talk at home about…book tasting!

Colleagues near and far have such great ideas! Book tasting is one of my new favorites! It is a great example of a learning activity that can be adjusted to be used with any grade level. This week, 1st and 2nd graders practiced tasting books here in the library. We are working on figuring out how to find a great book to bring home. We are exploring all the different ways that we can sample a book to get an idea if we’d like to take it home and finish it. <

Our read-aloud text was The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers.
